    On the Lunar New Year’s Eve, February 9, 2024, a grand event of “Tokyo Tower Lit up in Chinese Red to Celebrate the Spring Festival of 2024” will be held at the Tokyo Tower of Japan,  sponsored by the Executive Committee of Tokyo Tower Lit up in Chinese Red, supported by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Japan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Tokyo Prefecture, and the Japan Asian Community Culture Cooperation Organization, and co-organized by Chinese Cultural Figures Magazine, China International Cultural Exchange Center, World Federation of Chinese Entrepreneurs Organization, China Rehabilitation Technology Transformation and Development Promotion Association, China Association for Promotion of Cultural Exchange and Cooperation,China Association for Promotion of Cultural Exchange and Cooperation,CHIA TAI ICE MUSIC Production Center, Beijing Golden Rose Advertising,Association of Chinese Education of Japan, Asia-Pacific Tourism, 4UTECH (Beijing),and FantasiaX.

    On the Chinese Lunar New Year’s Eve, February 4, 2019, Cheng Yonghua, the Chinese Ambassador to Japan , former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda and  Tomoko Ukishima, the Vice Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan jointly push the button together to illuminate the Tokyo Tower in “Chinese Red” for the first time

    The Lunar New Year’s Eve is one of the most pivotal traditional Chinese festivals. The color of “Chinese Red” embodies good fortune, joy and happiness. This hue also reflects the “Chinese Lunar New Year”, symbolizing peace, success and other auspicious wishes and highlighting the spirit of the self-improvement, innovation and creation of the Chinese nation. the Event of “Tokyo Tower Lit up in Chinese Red” has been successfully staged for five times since 2019 to celebrate the most important traditional festival of the Chinese nation, wish the Chinese people around the world a happy New Year and augur prosperity and vitality for our motherland. On the Lunar New Year’s Eve of 2019, the Tokyo Tower was lit up in Chinese Red for the first time marking the Japanese people’s heartfelt greetings to the Chinese people; on the Lunar New Year’s Eve of 2020, the Tokyo Tower was once glow in Chinese Red, representing the enduring neighborly support between our two nations. On the Lunar New Year’s Eve of 2021, the Chinese characters “希望” (hope) are illuminated on the Tokyo Tower for the first time, sending a message of love and hope to the world; on the Lunar New Year’s Eve of 2022, the Chinese characters “未来” (future) were illuminated on the Tokyo Tower, inspiring everyone with courage and resilience in the future; on the Lunar New Year’s Eve of 2023, the Giant Panda Xiang Xiang and Secen Gerel performed the song Hello amidst the Tokyo Tower’s Chinese Red glow! This magnificent spectacle kindled a beacon of love and hope in the hearts of peace-loving individuals.
    On the Lunar New Year’s Eve of 2024, the Tokyo Tower will be lit up in “Chinese Red” for the sixth time. At the same time, the music video Blessing the Year of the Dragon jointly produced by the Executive Committee of Tokyo Tower Lit up in Chinese Red, China International Cultural Exchange Center, China Rehabilitation Technology Transformation and Development Promotion Association, China Association for Promotion of Cultural Exchange and Cooperation, and Chinese Cultural Figures Magazine will also be premiered here ceremoniously.
    As reported, the music video Blessing the Year of the Dragon masterminded by Yan An, Zhang Xiaozong, Song Guodong as the associate producers, not only reminisces about the captivating moments of the previous “Tokyo Tower Lit up in Chinese Red”events, but also conveys heartfelt wishes for the enduring friendship between the Chinese and Japanese people. Furthermore, it extends a global wish for a joyous Chinese New Year of the Dragon and the prosperity of China, highlighted by a snow-crafted dragon image. Anticipation for this music video is high, as it promises to unveil novel ideas, profound cultural elements, and breathtaking performances.
